The two letters below are important to read and teach!

Notes and Letters
An old sound is awakening God's People.  
It is getting louder!  It is calling us to war!

1. Blow the trumpet,  
2. Consecrate a fast,  
3. Call a sacred assembly;
4. Gather the people,  
5. Sanctify yourselves,  
6. Weep and cry out to the Lord ... "Spare Your People"    
7. And do not give up your heritage but stand up for what is right.

Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, and have pity on His People.   (A short version of Joel 2: 15-19) 
Today, the Lord is calling together those who will worship Him, alone, in spirit and in truth; those who will show up for duty to work, not just talk.
 
The Lord makes the order clear in the way to do things if we want His results.  Remember the story of Gideon who did it God's way?  Or Joshua in the battle of Jericho?  If pastors and ministry groups, will follow the directions by not skipping over any instructions, then God says He will fight our battles. Right?  

So, what comes first?

The Trumpeters (Shofarim or Shofar Blowers) were first then, and should be today.  The Trumpeters come along side to support, but in that support role, they lead the way. They did just what Joel 2:1 and 2:15 instructed them to do.  So what does blowing the shofar first accomplish?

In Ezekiel 33: 6-9   First, the trumpet blasts sounds the alarm.   The Shofar Blowers are the watchmen on the wall.  Their alarm or alert warns the rest of the Army so then they can accomplish the other 6 things mentioned above. 

God made it clear in over 70 verses in his word to first blow the trumpets. The trumpets where used and are still used today for starting things in motion and sending forth the warriors.  He uses the simple (or foolish) things to confound the wise and give grace to the humble.*  We must stop doing only the part that we want to do and do what the Lord says to do and the way He says to do it.  Psalm 150 gives instructions to praise God and to use all the sounds and yes even to dance. 

There is an Army arising worldwide today of 1000’s of Shofar Blowers who have heard God’s call for them to blow the trumpet and awaken his people to action. Enlist in God’s Army today and play your note.  See: www.ShofarCall.com

Heavenly Father,   Help us to first hear the trumpet call and then to arise and obey.  Please forgive us, as Christians, for being lukewarm and weak in our flesh and spirit.  Forgive our self-centeredness and lack of faith to believe that with You we can do all things.  Holy Spirit, refresh, refill and strengthen us to be mighty warriors for Your kingdom.  Lord, have Your way in our lives; in all we do 24/7/365.   Please cover our sins and the sins of our nation with the blood of Yeshua, our Savior and Lord.  I speak with Your power and authority and bind Satan and every evil spirit that has come on our land. (Luke 9:1)  
May Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  In the mighty name of Yeshua.  Amen!

 Comment to Dennis,  We had talked on the phone the other night from Israel. We are the friends of Maria. I will give you just a brief explanation of our shofar call in 1997. Then I will write a more detailed email for you. In 1997, the Lord called us to begin blowing the shofar everywhere we go. He said that there are Jews all over the world and that by blowing the shofar in their presence, that they would recognize the sound in their spirit and He would rekindle a fire inside of them. So from that point on, we have tried to blow our Shofars everywhere. I will write a more descriptive letter with testimonies for your records.

GOD WANTS TO ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS.. 
IF YOU DO YOUR PART

1. We must KNOW GOD by recognizing the wonders of our creator and our need to be saved from our sins.
2. We must GROW spiritually by being on our knees in daily PRAYER and BIBLE reading, which is our necessary for living in Christ.  As you know, to have a strong physical body and develop our muscles we must eat properly, exercise regularly and get proper sleep.

3. We must OBEY GOD by showing up for duty in the army of God. We will serve others before self, be pro-active against immorality and obey all the commandments of God.

4. We will then want to WITNESS as we are all commanded to do in Matthew 28:19 (in part).

Go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you and surely I am with you always.

God will answer our prayers if we obey him and witnesses in words and deeds (Lights) in our everyday lives at home, in our neighborhoods, at work, and at play.  We don’t just go to church we are the church.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to know you more. Forgive us for doing what we want to do or just what is comfortable to do. Teach us to pray with power and read the Bible with understanding. Help us to be true disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) and take up our cross daily and follow (obey) him. Yeshua said we would do even greater things then he did. Help us do what is right, go where you want us to go and be good witnesses for you everywhere we go. Lord, as we repent and turn from our sins and the sins of our nation we pray that you will heal our land.

We ask this in the mighty name of Yeshua.
